多読と精読

読書には『多読』と『精読』という読み方があるということを
ご存知でしょうか？これは日本語でも英語でも同じように
言えることです。基本的に自分らが普段からしている読み方は
多読であると言い切ってもいいでしょう。
しかし、英語を勉強するに当たってこの２つを組み合わせて
取り入れることを強くお勧めします。

そこで、双方がどういった読み方をするものなのか
ということを説明したいと思います。
『多読』は細かいところをそこまで気にせず
短時間で多くを読み取ろうとするもので
『精読』は解らないところがあればその度にうやむやにせず
しっかりと理解してから読み進めていくというものです。

両方のやり方に慣れていくことで
語彙力や読む速度、理解力の向上が見込めます。

言葉のボキャブラリーを知ることで
成果を実感することもできるので、やる気にも繋がります。

というよりも語学は
毎日触れることがベスト。
しかしながら忙しい生活の中で
まとまった学習時間を
とるというのはなかなか難しいのが
本当のところだろう。

が、意外と
移動時間やちょとした待ち時間というのは
存在するもので
その時間を活用することが
キーポイントになるという。

しかしながら実際は
スキマ時間だからそんなに
手のこんだことはできない。

パッと始められて
短時間でも効果を見込むことができるもの。

となると、リスニングが
ベストだという意見が強い。
英文をMP3プレイヤーだったり
携帯に入れて空き時間に聴く習慣をつけてみる。
など。

むしろリスニングは
長時間ぐだぐだ聴くよりも
短い時間で集中的に理解しようと
したほうが効果が高い。

２，３分でも極限に集中力を高めて
取り組んだほうがよっぽど勉強になるということ。

と、考えると
むしろこっちの方が
うってつけともとれる。
このやり方に慣れてくれば
とても良い学習になることだろう。
